Chairs of the Conference

Research Professor Jari Kiviaho has more than 25 years of experience in fuel cells, electrolysers and green hydrogen. As a founding member of VTT's fuel cell, electrolysis and hydrogen research activities, he has played a key role in developing and advancing these fields in Finland and internationally. He received his MSc and doctoral degrees from the University of Joensuu in the field of P2X and has built an extensive network through research, innovation and international collaboration, and he has published widely in multiple journals and conferences. He has proven experience in the field of managing large joint-financed and customer technology development projects. 

Kiviaho has held numerous leadership positions in major hydrogen and fuel cell organizations. His current roles include Member of the IEA AFC Executive Committee, Operating Agent of IEA AFC Annex 32, Member of IEA AFC Annex 33, Board Member of the Nordic Hydrogen Partnership and active member of Hydrogen Europe Research. Previous appointments include membership of the Scientific Committee of the FCH JU, Board Member of the Finnish National Fuel Cell Technology Program, Coordinator of the EERA Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Programme and Member of the Stakeholders Group of the Clean Hydrogen JU.
