In 2019, around 16 international laboratories and companies, including the OEMs - Audi, Daimler, Honda, Hyundai and Toyota showcased their products and applications at the exhibition and demonstration area. The next low temperature technology event EFCF 2021 was a corona year and a virtual exhibition was organised. In 2023 it is expected that the hunger to meet again physically is very high. Considering additionally, that the technology is growing strongly and many programs and thus projects have started, up to 40 exhibitors and over 450 participants are expected.

As in previous years, the following companies are again expected to be present  to inform about their technical status and highlight  their latest achievements:
Automotive OEMs: Audi, BMW, Daimler, Fiat, Hyundai, Honda, Nissan, Renault, Toyota;
Electrolyser & H2 Industry: AirLiquide, AREVA/Helion, Giner, Hydrogenics, IHT, ITM, Linde, NEL/Proton OnSite , Shell, Siemens.

The EFCF - Electrolyser & Fuel Cell FORUM is known for its relaxed atmosphere, good food services and unique entertainment. Social gatherings like the "Swiss Surprise" or the "Dinner on the Lake" create excellent opportunities for networking and to cultivate old and new friendships.

Your target clientele

Between 400-500 international experts - engineers, developers, scientists, CEOs, politicans, users, journalists, professors and students from all parts of the world benefit from the opportunity

  • to maintain ongoing and create new partnerships with you,
  • to exchange needs, experiences and visions about your products,
  • to establish business contacts and set-up new projects or
  • to find employment positions.

The exhibition is also a platform for different regions and international technical projects to show and exchange experiences and to create new connections. In the past, the European Fuel Cell Forum events have also been a trading place for intellectual property, patents and licenses.

The Venue

The EFCForums are traditionally held in Lucerne in the KKL , in conjunction with the FC&H2 EXHIBITION and a Electrolyser, Fuel Cell & H2 and EIS TUTORIALs. The conference centre KKL is a well known location on the picturesque waterfront of Lake Lucerne, and is easy to reach from the railway station and within a short distance from many hotels.

Since 2020, where Corona pandemic restriction did only allow to perform a fully virtual EFCF, also the EXHIBITION and TUTORIALs were held virtually, with the big advantages that they can be accessed from anywhere at any time i.e. on-demand - view the memberzone and if open the virtual exhibition room.
In the comming EFCF it is planed to offer all opportunities - physically life and virtual on-demand.
